WASHINGTON – The Science Coalition (TSC) released the following statement in response to President Trump’s fiscal year (FY) 2021 budget request:

“We are disappointed that the Administration’s FY 2021 budget request proposes significant cuts to federal research agencies. It would be a mistake to stifle the continued investment that encourages long-term economic growth, and cements the United States’ position as a global scientific and technological leader. We look forward to working with Congress and the White House to prioritize investments in key fundamental research agencies.”
